Description
Sunrize Chinese Five Spice Powder - traditional mix of five spices including Fennel, Cinnamon, Aniseed, Cloves and GInger. It represents the five basic tastes of bitter, sweet, sour, salt and pungent.
The Sunrize Fact-ory
This spice mix is based on the Chinese philosophy of balancing yin and yang in food with the heat of a dish counter balanced by an equally cooling ingredient.
Usage
Great with chicken, pork, beef or lamb, vegetables, marinades, dressings and stir fries. Ideal on Chinese spare ribs. Can also be used to add flavour to baking.
Storage requirements
Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.
